A penlight that can be controlled all at once from the venue side. As a product of Cocoreach Inc., I develop everything from the control board and enclosure to the definition of the communication protocol.
LUMION
2024 – presentA purchase-prediction system that visualizes audience excitement through biometric sensing
A system that embeds biometric sensors into penlights and other live-event merchandise and quantifies audience excitement in real time from heart rate and electrodermal activity. I lead its technical development as deputy CEO and CTO of Cocoreach Inc.
NIA / COCOMO
2024 – 2025A plush-toy device that moves in sync with your favorite performer's heartbeat

Robotics Club Official Characters
2022Proposing and creating characters to be the face of the club
Together with club members, I planned and created the robotics club's official characters, 乃木須創愛 and 衣笠明星. At School Festival 2022 they served as exhibition guides and appeared on original goods, contributing to the Best Exhibition Award.
Alnilam
2021 – presentA desktop PCB fabricator: the board you design by day is in your hands the next morning
A machine that fabricates double-sided printed circuit boards on a desktop in a matter of hours, combining CNC milling with a proprietary electroless plating process. Development began with a problem I ran into in high school; the project has since been selected for NEDO NEP and is now moving toward commercialization.

Mintaka
2021 – 2023An autonomous robot that set the youngest-ever record at Tsukuba Challenge 2022 as a high school team
We entered the Tsukuba Challenge, where robots drive autonomously through real city streets, as a high school team. As development leader I directed the autonomous robot Mintaka, and we passed the confirmation section as the youngest participants in the event, while still in high school.
Tsukuba Challenge 2022: passed the confirmation section (youngest-ever record, as high school students)
Electric Kick Scooter "Skip"
2023 – 2024An electric kick scooter built from the chassis to the electronics
I designed and built an electric kick scooter from scratch, from the CAD design of the chassis to the boost converter circuit and a homemade PCB. I checked the relevant statutes and ministerial ordinances one by one, all the way to full compliance with the safety standards.
Hackart
2022A pose-tracking cart that drives after a person
A cart built by electrifying a pedal cart for three-year-olds with an industrial three-phase motor; it follows a person automatically using MediaPipe pose recognition. It can also carry a rider. It won the Effort Award at the Geek CAMP hackathon.
Geek CAMP vol.10 hackathon: Effort Award
Self-Playing Melodica
2023 – 2024A machine that plays a melodica from MIDI
A machine that automatically plays a melodica from MIDI data. It grew out of Music2023, an auto-performance program with its own score format, and eventually performed together with a Tesla coil.
First-Year Robotics Education
2020 – 2022Building a process to pass the club's knowledge to the next generation
The robotics club had no mechanism for passing knowledge between generations, so I designed the training process for new members from scratch during a school closure. At its core, I produced an educational textbook of over 300 pages and the manual for a hands-on learning kit.
bukken_finder
2025A property database tool that searches by floor plan and travel time
A tool that takes floor-plan images and listing data, computes rent, floor area, and the actual travel time to a destination, and builds it all into a database. I made it to choose my own next home; a real-estate company then commissioned it, and I now provide the underlying system.
assort
2024 – 2025A large-scale data classification pipeline built on LLMs
A batch pipeline that automatically classified hundreds of thousands of Japanese text records with an LLM. Commissioned by a research institution at a university, I implemented concurrency control, cost optimization, and failure recovery in careful detail and carried the full real dataset through to completion.
